Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions updated

Regular readers of our blog know that we’ve had a lot to say in the last few weeks after the launch of Never Alone on November 18. We’ve made important, major improvements to the controls and AI. Nuna’s bola is more accurate and Fox’s jumps are more nimble. It’s easier to see which character you’re controlling and harder to accidentally jump to your death.

We were able to apply all of these changes to the Steam version of the game right away, but updates to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are a little trickier. They’re required to go through an approval process by Microsoft and Sony — and justifiably so! However, that means that it takes a little longer to get the updated version of the game to our fans on consoles.

We’re happy to announce that earlier this week, updates to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game were approved by Sony and Microsoft. Never Alone on home consoles now has all of those important updates we mentioned above, along with the hundreds of other fixes you can find in the notes of our first two updates.

So if you’ve been waiting to purchase the game until it received an update, now’s the time! The holiday season is upon us, and it’s a great time to pick up Never Alone for yourself or as a gift.

Happy holidays!
